The day after we spoke I had a positive interaction with the exec we were speaking about. I asked if he had a few more min and said I felt that we just had a really good team interaction but I didn’t feel like everything was going that way, that I wanted to be a good team, and wasn’t certain how to make things work. This opened the door to a breakthrough conversation where I learned he was having very similar feelings and we made some good progress in moving forward. I feel like it really broke the log jam and we are on our way to a healthier relationship.
